Though Asbury Seminary has had many histories written about it, this article was the first to focus on the topic of integrating Black students. When the first Black students did attend, they were shot at within their first month on campus. Partly as a result of this article, a chapel series was begun named after the first Black graduate of the school, and discussions around improvements for Black students and faculty today have continued.

I've been disappointed by the lack of historical connections and philosophical knowledge in current AI development. This paper compares contemporary AI architecture with the philosophical work of Alfred North Whitehead and Catherine Malabou to show one option of reconciling creativity and theological potential in the interactions of complex systems like today's AI architectures.
